Get In TouchFarm Friends Day Nursery provides care for children from 12 months old until they are ready to start school.
It is important that each age group benefits from the appropriate attention, stimulation and encouragement to socialise and develop. Therefore, we established four distinct groups that the children move through as they get older. These groups are Charlie Chicks – Toddlers, Daffy Ducks – Rising 3’s, Percy Piglets – Young Preschool, Percy Pigs – Older Preschool.
Children spend time outside every day. They explore the countryside on our nature trail or learn about the farm animals while exploring the grounds. Each room has its own outdoor space, garden and play area.
Daffy Ducks – Rising 3s Room
When the children move up to Daffy Ducks, their daily routine becomes more structured.
The emphasis remains on play and the children are encouraged to make choices between a selection of activities we provide for them. There is an indoor slide and soft play as well as creative stations with playdough, colouring, sand or water play.
There is a cosy corner for quiet time and a playhouse and kitchen for role playing.
The room benefits from its own outdoor play area and garden meaning that free-flow play is available. In the garden children are encouraged to look after plants and mud and water play is popular.
